The Respiratory Department at Pineville Community Hospital is comprised of a dedicated staff of Certified and Registered Respiratory Therapists dedicated to providing quality respiratory/cardiopulmonary care.

Respiratory/Cardiopulmonary Services include:

• Bronchodialator Therapy via HHN, IPPB or MDI
• Oxygen Therapy
• Chest Physio-Therapy

• Arterial Blood Gas Analysis (ABG)
• Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT)
• 24-Hour Holter Monitoring
• 30-Day Event Monitoring
• Electrocardiographs (EKG)
• Heated Aerosol Therapy
• Peak flow measurement
• Echocardiograms
• Incentive Sirometry
• NPPU Therapy
• Telemetry
• Sputum Collection

Stress Testing

• Electroencephalogram (EEG)
• Exercise Stress Echo’s
• Dobutrex Stress Echo’s
• Plain Stress Testing

The Respiratory Department has 24-hour coverage to take care of inpatient needs. Out-patient procedures must be scheduled. For scheduling out-patient procedures call 606-337-3051 ext. 3471 between the hours of 7 AM and 3 PM.
